Printed Labels | Flexographic Labels

Printed labels are printed using digital and flexo machines.

Flexo Labels

Flexographic labels are a highly versatile label solution that can be applied on nearly all packages. They can be printed on a wide variety of materials, including metal films, plastics and even concrete.

You can find flexographic labels on just about any type of product. They’re widely used for a variety of consumer package goods because they’re economical with large runs, they can be printed on non-porous materials, and they’re great for printing large areas of a solid color. Their versatility makes them a good option for tags, flexible packaging and pouches.

Are flexographic labels right for you?

Flexographic labels provide rapid speed at reasonable cost with design flexibility. If you need large quantities of labels ASAP, flexographic presses can achieve quick line speeds because the labels are fed in using rolls. Particularly for large orders on short lead times, they’re a great value. Since flexographic printing allows in-line combination printing with other processes, such as embossing, we can integrate a high degree of design flexibility. If you want a no-label look, a tactile feel or simply an eye-catching appearance, flexographic labels make it possible.

We offer a wide range of flexographic label solutions, including UV flexographic, water-based flexographic, rotary screen, rotary letterpress and foil labels. That means we can create any finish you need. With more than 50 different presses, we can run prints up to 18-inches wide — large enough for the biggest containers. And we can print in up to 14 colors to achieve any color combination. Want a textured feel or a scented label that extends your customer’s product experience? Our tactile labels and scented inks make it possible.

We also carry a large range of other printing capabilities. No matter what label you need, our full-service team can walk you through the printing process from design to delivery and help you select the best label for your product — whether you need a flexographic label or any other kind of pressure-sensitive label.

Printed Labels | Digital Labels

Printed labels are printed using digital and flexo machines.

Digital label printing

Digital label printing is a rapidly developing technology that’s changing the label industry. Each year, new printers hit the market, improving the quality of labels available while reducing printing costs and turnaround times.

Digital label printing vs. flexographic printing

The process of traditional and modern flexographic printing begins with making a design into a printing plate. Then, that plate is set up on a press to imprint your design onto labels as they’re fed into the press. Though printing plates are highly efficient and cost effective for large-scale orders, they take time to create and carry significant setup and changeover costs, making them inefficient for short and medium sized runs. Like much more high-tech versions of desktop printers, digital label printers read digital design files and use ink heads to print those designs directly onto label materials — eliminating the need for plates.

As new printers and technologies have emerged, digital label printing has become more and more reliable and offers the absolute highest quality. For small to medium sized runs, it’s a superior option to flexographic label printing.

At Poligrafikalabelli, we offer national reach with a local touch. We deliver cutting-edge label printing with the most accessible, local service. Pre-Printed Labels | Printed Thermal Labels

Pre-Printed labels are thermal printed labels using direct thermal method.

Direct Thermal Labels

Direct thermal labels are a cost-effective type of label made with the direct thermal printing process. In this process, a thermal print head is used to selectively heat specific areas of coated, thermo-chromatic (or thermal) paper. The paper runs over the thermal print head then turns black where it’s heated, producing a desired image. Two-color direct thermal printing can create both red and black images by applying heat at two temperatures. Direct thermal labels use no ink, toner or ribbon, only chemically treated, heat-sensitive materials.

Advantages of Thermal Labels

Direct thermal labels print on continuous reels or sheets and are highly cost effective for creating simple labels in large quantities. Since they use no thermal ribbon, they’re a more environmentally friendly option than thermal transfer labels, which use ribbons made partially from crude oil products. New, BPA-free and phenol-free thermal papers are even available for cleaner print runs. Direct thermal printers typically cost less to operate than inkjet, laser or thermal transfer printers. And they reduce waste and shipping weight — important drivers of cost and environmental concerns

Printed Tapes

Printed tapes are used to label your boxes, products or even territory.

Printed Tapes

We are one of the few label printing companies that also print tapes and distribute them across the Europe. For every client’s need we find the right tape for them. Printed, blank or signal tape. Products are available in different colors, shapes and lengths. Everything is chosen by our client.

Tape Types

Depending on the usage, tapes uses three types of glue. The glues is chosen by the type of the material that tape is gonna stick to. The three glue types are – medium, strong and extra high standard. The medium glue is used if tape tape is going to be pasted on product itself or an area that requires to be clean after the tapes is removed. Strong glue is used in situation where the area is required stronger glue to stick to. For example cotton boxes are the most common use for strong glue. The extra high standard glue is used for low temperatures, wet weather or outside use of tapes.

If the client is not sure of what kind of glue they need, just write us and ask the question. We will find the right glue and length of the tapes for you.
